Dr Tim Janssen MD, FEBOPRAS, is a dual German and European board-certified and fellowship-trained Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon.
Dr. Janssen specialises in aesthetic surgical facial rejuvenation procedures, as well as reconstructive facial surgery, with a particular focus on endoscopic facelifting. He is the developer of the HI Lift®, a scarless deep plane endoscopic facelift performed through incisions concealed entirely within the hairline.
Originally from Germany, Dr. Tim J. Janssen earned his Medical Degree (MD) at the University of Hamburg, and completed a full-time research programme before entering specialist training. His specialist training was undertaken in Germany, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, and he is a registered specialist in all three countries.
Dr. Janssen is a full member of the German Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons and of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and has been appointed as a reviewer by the Editorial Board of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal (ASJ). He is involved in numerous scientific projects, and lectures frequently at international conferences, where he teaches endoscopic facelifting techniques to other surgeons.
He is one of the few surgeons worldwide who specialises in endoscopic facelift surgery, a technique that enables facial rejuvenation with no visible scarring.
